Maxx Crosby Invests in Slate Milk: Joining Several Other Athletes

Maxx Crosby has made an equity investment in Slate Milk, a company that reimagined a beloved childhood classic, chocolate milk, founded by Manny Lubin and Josh Belinsky.

The company’s journey began with a successful Kickstarter campaign, followed by a pitch on Shark Tank. While the sharks, including Mark Cuban, initially passed on the investment due to the company’s early stage, Lubin and Belinsky persevered.

Since the show, they’ve expanded their product’s availability to 13,000 stores and raised $24 million, a significant leap from the $400,000 they were seeking during their Shark Tank appearance.

Their product also gained the attention of the UFC, securing an official sponsorship after UFC President Dana White discovered and endorsed it.

Maxx Crosby, a devoted UFC enthusiast, learned about Slate Milk through Dana White and was eager to become officially involved. Lubin views Crosby as the ideal partner to extend the brand’s presence within the NFL community and beyond.

Several other athletes invested in Slate Milk a few months ago including the NBA players Terance Mann and Duncan Robinson.
