TMRW Sports, focused on innovative approaches in sports, media, and entertainment, has announced the closure of its Series A investment round. The round was co-led by Dynasty Equity, known for a recent strategic investment in Liverpool FC, and Connect Ventures, co-leaders of TMRW Sports’ initial fundraising. The round included participation from institutional investors, sports team owners, cultural icons, and business leaders. TMRW Sports was founded by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Mike McCarley.
The investment group brings experience from NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA TOUR, Premier League, Formula 1, NASCAR, MLS, NWSL, WNBA, tennis, surfing, and cricket, and includes cultural icons with over 1 billion social media followers. TMRW Sports’ first project, TGL presented by SoFi, is a new team golf league combining advanced tech and live action, launching in January on ESPN and ESPN+.

Introduced in August 2022 by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Mike McCarley, TMRW Sports announced a diverse investment group in November 2022 across sports, culture, technology, media, and business. This group includes future team owners for TGL presented by SoFi, such as Arthur M. Blank, David Blitzer, Stephen Curry, Fenway Sports Group, Alex Morgan, Alexis Ohanian, and Serena Williams, and strategic investors like Josh Allen, Lewis Hamilton, Andy Murray, Ninja, Chris Paul, Shohei Ohtani, Tony Romo, and Justin Timberlake. Additional investors include Shaquille O’Neal, Dwyane Wade, Kevin Durant, Mike Trout, Michael Rubin, Greg Maffei, Justin Bieber, DJ Khaled, and Darius Rucker.
