Shaun White, the three-time Olympic gold medalist, has joined forces with Josh Harris and David Blitzer, owners of the Philadelphia 76ers and NJ Devils, to purchase We Are Camp, a youth action sports camp in Oregon.
Shaun White, who spent his summers at the camp in his youth, expressed his excitement about the partnership and his intention to elevate the camp’s offerings.
We Are Camp, located in Mt. Hood, Oregon, provides various activities, including skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and skateboarding.
The camp, valued at around $10 million, holds sentimental value for White, making this collaboration a full-circle moment for the renowned snowboarder. Harris and Blitzer, with successful ventures in sports ownership, including the Sixers and Devils, are well-positioned for such investments. Harris, with a net worth of nearly $8 billion, recently partnered with Magic Johnson to acquire the Washington Commanders.
