Sports and music representation firm Wasserman has completed its acquisition of Hollywood management and production company Brillstein Entertainment Partners. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
This acquisition allows Wasserman, led by chairman and CEO Casey Wasserman, to enter the film and TV representation and production industry. It marks the company’s second strategic move, following its takeover of the music touring business from Paradigm agency during the pandemic.
The acquisition of Brillstein Entertainment Partners by Wasserman adds a robust entertainment management and content division to Wasserman’s existing businesses. Wasserman is involved in marketing and representing a diverse group of sports and entertainment personalities, music artists, brands, and properties.
