Avenue Capital Group, a global investment firm managing $12.5 billion in assets, has recently introduced the Avenue Sports Fund. Mark Lasry, a former Co-Owner of the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks, has a strong background in the sports industry.

The investment in TGL San Francisco represents one of the initial investments by the Avenue Sports Fund, which seeks to offer capital solutions to a range of sports teams, owners, and leagues. It also plans to invest in sports-related media, entertainment rights, real estate, and other related ventures.

Stephen Curry’s collaboration with Lasry in the Avenue Sports Fund adds to his expanding business portfolio. This portfolio includes his award-winning production company, Unanimous Media; the purpose-driven lifestyle brand, UNDERRATED, focusing on golf and basketball; his signature Kentucky Straight Bourbon, Gentleman’s Cut; and his acclaimed foundation, EAT.
