NFL icon Tom Brady is set to embark on a surprising journey by joining his third franchise, defying expectations. Reports indicate that Tom Brady has reached an agreement with the Las Vegas Raiders to acquire a minority stake in the team, as confirmed by owner Mark Davis on Monday.
Brady recently invested in the WNBA franchise the Las Vegas Aces.
“We’re excited for Tom to join the Raiders and it’s exciting because he will be just the third player in the history of the National Football League to become an owner”, said Mark Davis.
Despite his retirement announcement following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers playoff exit, the 45-year-old Tom Brady is expected to have no involvement in football operations if the agreement with the Las Vegas Raiders materializes.
This arrangement would allow Brady to pursue his lucrative broadcast deal with FOX, scheduled to commence in 2024.
Athletes continue to value equity and ownership.
