US Software Company Teamworks Acquires Andrew Trimble’s Sports Tech Firm

Teamworks, based in North Carolina, has acquired the Belfast sports tech firm co-founded by former Irish rugby player Andrew Trimble. The company, Kairos, established by Trimble and entrepreneur Gareth Quinn in 2018, specializes in scheduling management and communication solutions for sports teams.

Trimble views this as a strategic alignment with a leading sports tech firm, enhancing service capabilities for professional sports customers. Teamworks CEO Zach Maurides sees this as a step towards revolutionizing sports through collaborative technology development.
