Established in 2019 by tech industry experts Swupnil Sahai and Richard Hsu, SwingVision offers an AI-powered mobile app that transforms user-captured video from iPhones or iPads to provide automated stats, highlights, and officiating.

While initially focusing on tennis, with over 23.6 million players in the U.S., SwingVision intends to broaden its offerings to cover pickleball, one of America’s fastest-growing sports. Expansion into other racket sports, including padel, is also on the company’s roadmap.

Lindsay Davenport, former pro tennis star, expressed her excitement for SwingVision’s innovative use of AI technology to assist athletes and looked forward to its potential beyond tennis. Notably, SwingVision’s existing investors include pro tennis players Andy Roddick and James Blake, among others.

Swupnil Sahai, Co-Founder and CEO of SwingVision, highlighted their proprietary object tracking technology that offers an affordable and accurate solution for tennis players, making it easier for athletes to record, share, and improve their performance. The company’s ultimate goal is to create a multi-sport platform that redefines how athletes of all levels record, share, and enhance their game experiences.

Lindsay Lee, Founder and Managing Partner of Authentic Ventures, recognized SwingVision’s dominance in computer vision for sports on mobile devices and supported its mission to democratize the professional sports experience for athletes at all levels. Beyond individual athletes, SwingVision is used by over 100 D1 college tennis teams, providing them with a competitive edge.
