Stupa Sports Analytics, a leading sports technology company, has raised Rs 280 million in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital. This investment will be used to hire top talent, enhance global presence, and improve product offerings.
Reflecting on the journey and future plans, Megha Gambhir, Co-founder and CEO of Stupa Sports Analytics, stated, “At Stupa, we envision a future where cutting-edge sports technology empowers athletes, federations, and fans alike with data-driven insights and digitally augmented experiences. The new funding will be utilized to attract top-tier AI/ML and engineering professionals to develop advanced solutions in the rapidly evolving sports-tech sector. Additionally, the investment will support Stupa’s global expansion efforts, focusing on key markets such as the US, UK, Australia, and the Middle East, while strengthening its presence in Europe and Asia.
With this capital infusion, Stupa plans to enhance its product lineup to include a broader range of sports disciplines such as table tennis, badminton, and emerging sports like pickleball and paddle, alongside other multi-sport capabilities.
Prior to this Pre-Series A round, Stupa had raised Rs 75 million in seed and pre-seed funding. The company intends to initiate another fundraising round in 2025 to implement data and media rights monetization strategies, build a B2B2C segment catering to players, coaches, and fans, and further expand its portfolio of sports disciplines.
