Pro League Network, a newly established niche sports content producer specializing in creating betting-related content for sportsbooks, has successfully concluded its seed funding round. The funding was provided by prominent venture capital investor Roger Ehrenberg through his VC funds IA Sports Ventures and Eberg Capital.
While the exact amount has not been disclosed, the funding is in the “low seven figures.” The news of this investment will be officially announced.
The synergy between Pro League Network and Eberg Capital is notable, given Eberg Capital’s focus on media and its investments in initiatives like the revival of SlamBall and Betr Media. The company aims to leverage this funding to further develop its offerings and cater to the growing demand for specialized sports betting content.
Pro League Network Raises Money
Pro League Network has an impressive portfolio of 16 sports, either actively competing or in the developmental phase. These include unique offerings such as CarJitsu, a close combat match within a car, SlapFIGHT, a circuit for Russian slapping contests, and the World Putting League, a professional mini-golf league.
The company strategically schedules matches during underutilized periods in the sports calendar, effectively filling gaps in the market where limited to no betting opportunities exist.
