Mario Götze Invests in Secjur’s $5.5M Seed Round

Information security company, Secjur, announced a €5.5M seed investment led by Visionaries Club with participation from a rock-star angel line-up.

One of those angels happens to be German soccer player Mario Götze.

Secjur automates processes in the Digital Compliance Office that are related to fields such as data protection, information security, anti-money laundering, and whistleblowing. Using their tool, companies can solve compliance challenges at the speed of light.

Secjur plans to become the world’s leading provider in the relatively new sector of compliance automation. The product is already the market leader when it comes to data protection and information security in Europe.

Mario Götze is currently playing for Germany in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He continues to invest in young startups across the European landscape.
