Javelin Sports is a Toronto-based app for sports management that announced they have closed its first funding round of $1 million CAD.
This new capital, which was founded by Coleman Chan and Justin Ford, will allow Javelin Sports to expand its reach worldwide and offer more exciting features and options to users via its mobile app.
Javelin Sports was founded in 2017 and is revolutionizing recreational volleyball by providing a one-stop shop for all athletes who want to play in their local area.
The Javelin Sports mobile application has over 40K players. Users can match up with other local athletes, form private teams, and book facilites from their phones.

The app was first introduced to Donovan Bailey in 2022. He loved the idea of the app connecting new athletes through their passion for sports. Javelin Sports has appointed the renowned Olympic athlete as a board member.
