Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (HOFV), in partnership with Josh Harris and David Blitzer, is set to enhance and expand youth sports programming at the Hall of Fame Village, a 115-acre sports and entertainment destination located around the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
The initiative aims to go beyond sports and instill values, character-building, and a sense of community in young athletes, making a lasting impact on their lives and the communities they belong to. This strategic partnership will introduce new sports programs, including flag and tackle football, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey, as part of the youth sports platform.
Michael Crawford, President and CEO of Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company, emphasized the commitment to shaping not only skilled athletes but also resilient individuals and future leaders through this partnership.
Josh Harris and David Blitzer expressed their shared goal of creating opportunities for youth to experience the positive benefits of sports. The partnership leverages the strengths of the Hall of Fame Village and the track records of Harris and Blitzer to enhance youth sports programming and deliver world-class experiences at the ForeverLawn Sports Complex.
The collaboration extends to youth sports programming at the Hall of Fame Village’s Center for Performance, a versatile indoor facility spanning 100,000 square feet. It will host various events throughout the year, including sports competitions, tournaments, concerts, conventions, and more.
Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company will maintain a minority ownership interest in the Sports Complex business. This partnership reinforces the commitment of both entities to use sports as a means to inspire, educate, and uplift youth while enhancing the overall synergy at the Hall of Fame Village destination.
