Underdog Fantasy Raises $35 Million

Underdog Fantasy, a paid fantasy sports app, has announced that they have raised $35,000,000. Several major names in the sporting industry have been confirmed to contribute to this amount.

The company will aim to expand, hiring more employees and officially starting a sports betting market.

Who Contributed?

Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, is one investor who has pledged money to advance Underdog Fantasy. He joins alongside Kevin Durant, Odell Beckham Jr., Jared Goff, and Trae Young.

Many music artists have also donated. Some of these artists include: Future, the Chainsmokers, Nas, and more.

Look into the Future

Underdog Fantasy was founded by Jeremy Levine, who recently said:

“Since the start of Underdog, we’ve believed that building quality products and putting customers first is a winning recipe. We’re excited to continue to innovate and build new experiences from the ground up in Fantasy, Sports Betting, and Adjacent Spaces.”

On January 1st, 2023 the company hopes to launch its first betting product in Ohio. They have also agreed on a deal with the Cincinnati Reds, to become the team’s official sports betting partner.

The platform is available in every state aside from Connecticut, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Louisiana, Montana, Washington, Delaware and Iowa.

We definitely should expect to hear of Underdog Fantasy in the near future, and we would not at all be surprised to see them become a major player in the world of sports gambling.
