CrewLAB Secures $1.6M for Tech Access in Endurance Sports

CrewLAB, an innovative sports management platform, has successfully secured over $1.6 million in funding, exceeding its target by nearly 200%. This investment round was spearheaded by Scott Sandell, the esteemed Chairman and CEO of New Enterprise Associates, and saw contributions from several entities, including Manning Ventures and previous angel investors.

The platform is gaining rapid traction, serving over 6,000 athletes and coaches worldwide across various sports disciplines and levels. CrewLAB aims to transform average teams into high-performing units by providing a unified digital workspace for athletes and a suite of advanced tools for coaches.

CrewLAB’s impact is already visible, with partner teams reporting their best performances in a decade and achieving first-time national titles. Tom Sanford, the Head Rowing Coach at Marist College, noted the platform’s positive influence on coaching satisfaction, team dynamics, and cultural strength, enhancing engagement with athletes.

With the new funding, CrewLAB plans to expand its research and development efforts, making the platform accessible to any team member.
