2. Invested in vegan bacon startup Umaro Foods, which has raised $4M from an array of investors including Mark Cuban.
Since going vegan in 2019, Chris Paul is an outspoken advocate for the benefits of a healthy plant-based lifestyle.

Umaro Foods, which makes realistic bacon from seaweed. Co-founder and CEO Beth Zotter reveals her company connected with Paul through a chance encounter with his agent, and the athlete became the first person outside Umaro to try the product.
Umaro has raised at least $4M from other investors, including Shark Tank’s Mark Cuban, and launched into US food service in June.
